Throughout the year the WA SDA Conference runs are variety of camps for various groups and ages. These camps are enjoyed by all and often a highlight of the year.

Is as part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as the Church itself with spiritual camp meetings being held since the birth of our Church in 1863.  Historically this has always been a time of spiritual emphasis that has served as an inspiring and awakening to the presence and power of Jesus Christ and his Word in our world.  NOTHING HAS CHANGED in this for over 160 years now.

We now simply make use of the Easter Holiday period to get together as a Church and camp out to focus our attention on worshipping Jesus and learning from inspiring speakers around the world.  An estimate of 2500 people bring their tents and caravans, or hire a tent from our Camp Site and camp out at Advent Park, situated near the corner of Roe highway and Kalamunda Road in Maida Vale.
Our Mission: “summer camps are to lead young people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and help them find their place in God’s service.”
We Commit: “To inspire, train, resource and empower our leaders to share in this mission.”
We Celebrate: “Excellence, relevance, creativity, loyalty, authenticity, accountability, encouragement, affirmation and the unique giftedness of all individuals.”

The experiences and expectation of being a Grey Nomad  traveller, to see and explore old and new things and places, are so basic but also unique. Creating events for growth, for reflection, for fellowship, worship and Bible study is really appreciated.

As a ministry of the WA, we invite you to the annual week long Grey Nomads Camp at Advent Park in Maida Vale, Perth. The next camp is planned for 17 – 23 September 2017.
